EV Car meet

EV Car meet

Calling all EV owners and enthusiasts alike! Charlie Foster’s has the event you have been waiting for. Make sure to set the date because the FIRST Saturday of EVERY month is our EV Car Meet. This is a perfect chance to come, enjoy coffee, and check out some of Huntsville’s featured EV cars and their owners. Meet others who share your passion for a more sustainable vehicle, or come and discover the perks of one.

The EV community is growing pretty quickly due to the benefits. One of the most popular reasons people decide to invest in an EV is because of its use of renewable energy rather than fossil fuels. Since these cars utilize lithium-ion batteries, rechargeable batteries that your phone and computer also use, they do not produce carbon dioxide emissions. This helps to reduce air pollution, leading to cleaner air.

Another reason someone might invest in an EV includes the low maintenance required in comparison to a gas-powered vehicle. The batteries of an electric car require far less upkeep, leaving you to have to invest minimal effort.

One difficulty that is often discussed, however, is finding charging stations for an EV vehicle, But we have great news for you. Huntsville, alone, has 27 public charging stations and 24 of them offer free charges! A few popular locations are Huntsville City Hall, Bridgestreet, and Whole Foods. Take that for hard to find.

Whether you currently own an EV and want to be a part of a community, or simply want to join the community of EV enthusiasts and seek more information, our EV Car Meet is where you will want to be. You can come and see the many options that are available as, though Tesla is the leading EV manufacturer, well-known companies like Ford, Honda, Audi, Buick, Hyundai, Nissan, and more, are taking part in the EV game. So, come and join us on the first Saturday of every month from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM at Stovehouse, the 9th Street Parking Lot, for coffee and EV’s. We promise you’ll be singing “it’s electric! Boogie, woogie, woogie,” all the way home.
